Bayern were awesome until 4-0 then eased off a little, still favourites for me. Atletico are in very bad form so not a surprise they lost, overall it is going to be a bad year for La Liga but every League has good and bad years, hopefully it is just a one off.

To be fair, we’d be winning La Liga with Suarez and we’re still shit in CL without him. Getting rid of him rather than Griezmann or Coutinho was still a mistake.

Problem is if he would be at barca we would still use him in big cl matches and we cant afford two players who dont run so it was the right decision to get rid from him. The mistake was to buy a player who is even worse.

No, it would be even worse compared to now. We don't play like Atletico where Suarez can be the lone striker and we can feed him crosses/through balls. our style of play just doesn't fit current Suarez. It would be a disaster (more so than now).

At his peak in Barca in 2015-2017 he had an excellent touch, excellent passing, pressed, and scored goals. Basically the 4 ingredients you need to be a successful attacker for Barca.

Nothing comparable.

Coutinho and Griezman have two hefty transfer fees you are still paying while Suarez was already amortized. Financially, it makes sense to let the latter go. You wouldn't find buyers for the former ones at a decent prize. Let's not forget you loan Coutinho out to Bayern and no one tried to get him at a reasonable price after that loan.
