Vidal is the best midfielder in ours or Liverpool's squad IMHO. At first he was just energy an tackling but lately he has shown he's a great passer, long and short, and chips in with assists too. Good long range shooting too. Incredibly well rounded.

Both bring physicality and energy, but Vidal is a far more well rounded footballer than paulinho. Vidal but not paulinho has the mininum technique and precision to play midfield for barca--but in these respects arthur, rakitic and busi are a lot better and thus should start. Vidal is a perfect sub for the 1st tiring midfielder.

If we get in front and we start to defend and play on the counter in quick transitions, or if things go bad and we get dominated physically, I want him on as soon as min 45. No two ways about it.

Vidal is a level above Paulinho. Paulinho's goals came mostly against small sides. Don't see Paulinho as a serious scoring threat at this level.
