This forum suffers from a massive double-personality disorder. Rewind back 2 months and everyone (almost everyone) was begging us to sell Suarez because he is shit, Tony Soprano fat and basically done at the highest level as a player. Now he's gotten a bit better and the same people just made a 180 degrees turn saying we should just pass on a 26-27 year old proven world class player (shocker) that we have an agreement with at a discount price in this market. Now if for some reason Suarez' form dips again, people would get back to saying bring on Griezmann and bench the fat motherfucker.

How can you complain when we have options because some top player would have to sit on the bench for a while, and also complain that we don't have enough options and not a great enough squad? It just doesn't add up. When you have a great squad that's what tends to happen. First 11 quality players have to sit on the bench from time to time.

The point is, Suarez and Griezmann can't coexist, especially when we have Messi, Coutinho and Dembele as well.

Dembele coming in off the bench for a season might not be that bad of an idea.. especially with the way this season has gone, although he cost a shit ton hes still young. if we could phase Suarez out next season (he'll be 32) we could end up with Dembele-Messi-Griezmann for the remainder of Messi's career.

And then he causes a fuss like he did for Dortmund.

By the way, good luck with the finances paying wages of all those players

But griezmann is not really much better then suarez, he was never close to suarez when luis was on fire, he also isnt consistent, he plays bad this season, but yes, he is younger

And just to add,

If Suarez form drops we can easily play Messi as False nine, flanked by coutinho and Dembele.

No need to have Griezmann around for that one month when Suarez is off form

Messi at false 9 is a terrible idea with no strikers up front to wrestle defenders and make space for him. Messi should play behind 1 or 2 strikers.

IF a player who turns 21 this year causes a fuss just because he doesn't play as a starter..
then he will need to be sold. He should be aware that he is playing for Barça not Dortmund.

He's aware of that. It's not like he'll be a sub either. He'll just rotate with the other top forwards. Including Messi should be rested in the future more. Dembele atm is an unknown factor for me. We don't know how well he'll recover, and his next season will be like his first season, considering how little he played so far.

We use that when Suarez is out of form while slowly bringing him back to form, instead of spending 100 M and adding another player with high wages to sit on the bench when Suarez is back on form
