I bet they would have normally accepted the 50m offer without hesitating, but United is literally begging to get exploited here.
This is the most desperate transfer rumour that I have ever seen. If I was Monaco, I'd take it even further and go for 75m + Januzaj, and a Woodward blowjob.

Anthony Martial (photo) was presented Monday at 11:00 at the gathering of the France team at Clairefontaine. He requested from Didier Deschamps permission to travel to England to sign a contract with Manchester United.
Given the exceptional circumstances, the coach has acceded to the request of the player.

I've never heard of him or seen him play, apart from Monaco vs Arsenal and he never caught my eye to make me remember his name, and to then spend £35-40m on him is crazy, I hope he is a United fan so if he ever does reach 'Henry' status he doesn't cry about going to Madrid/Barca.
