Ansu Fati (loaned to Brighton)

This season is a meh anyway, nobody is expecting much so we will have to adapt.

I want Ansu to take as much time as needed to recover properly so this doesn't bother him and ail him in the future. He will come back stronger.

Hopefully he can come back better. Been very average lately. 2 goals in his last 10 games and 0 in his last 4 games. He shouldn?t even have been on the pitch today with his form lately, 18 or not. That can?t be the excuse every time.

He was our best player vs Kiev.

Another example of poor squad planning. Playing a kid as starter week in week out, no matter how talented he is. Fati should have been rotated this season with more experienced players.

If Koeman benched him people would be fuming. Let's not be assholes right now. Injuries happen in football, Betis player made a bad tackle and injured him. It can happen to anyone.

Umtiti fucked it up himself by refusing to intervene surgically. He had some phobia about the operation apparently.
But he busted his knee with his stubborness, and disregarded doctor's advice and club's request.
It should have been a reason enough to terminate his contract.

Fati is hopefully smart enough to not do that.
I believe if he gets operated he won't have constant recurring knee problems

Exactly, well said. Umtiti just didn't want to get the surgery done and was dragging his feet, against the advice of the club.

Ansu is a smart and disciplined kid, he will do what's best for him and he will do whatever that is necessary to fully recover and come back.
