Yea, he was quite good against RM and all, but he still is shit for Barca. Another big and slow midfielder is not what we need, even if his footballing IQ is fine. We have already two slowbros in form of Busquets and Rakitic. Also, he would probably never accept a role of a back up given he's not playing for some lowly club and is an arrogant frog to supplement that. Probably would be poisonous in the dressing room too.
