We need to get faster and more athletic. Who would you want as your CDM. Frenkie or Rodri?
Pair Frenkie up with an offensive CM that's great at creating chances/playing final passes and Arthur or a B2B MF and it's a perfect midfield.

Yea, we need that midfielder, plus two wingers or at least a winger and a forward. Tall order. Not to mention a board who know what they are doing and a great manager to put everything together and make the players click.

When you are in big Clubs you have to adapt to day to day situations like players missing ...etc
Xavi & Iniesta did but not only them so did for other positions Mascherano / Messi / Henry /Pedro / Cesc ... not talking about Sergi cause this case is extreme and non sense.
Of course it's not only due the player self adaptation the coach takes a huge role in this.

When left with time on ball he is not really top level going forward nor does he have a great range of passing to switch play etc.
It should be FDJ and Arthur as a two who can take ball off defence and progress it from there but Barca will never drop Busi and will be completely exposed defensivley with Busi as lone DM on front of Pique Umtiti/Lenglet.

What you are saying is FDJ is not great to bring the ball forward (i think their is hope in him in that area)
We know Arthur need couple of years to be "decent" in that area too.
Then we have a pretty defensive midfield which is garbage for barça, we can't afford having MD "great under pressure" and "garbage when going forward" so to speak this will be perfect for AM style !!!
