4 consecutive clean sheets in La Liga. Conceded 4 goals in 6 games since his return, three of them in that game against Granada when he was probably still rusty. For comparision, Pena conceded 9 goals in previous 5 league games in 2024.

In total this season in all competitions

Ter Stegen - 25 games, 21 goals conceded, 12 CS
Pena - 17 games, 32 goals conceded, 3 CS

Ofc can't only blame Pena but I think for all other injuries that have impacted us negatively missing MATS for 3 months is the main reason why we're not in for La Liga title anymore (unless RM would really bottle it which I don't expect). Definitely should do everything we can to sign a better backup GK this summer.

Great saves as always BUT his passing is so horrible it is 100% elimination against PSG if he'll do the same as yesterday !!

ill rather have an average GK that doesn't gift goals to opponents.

His passing used to be better but don't think there are a lot of GKs that would improve our ability to play out of the back while at the same time not dramatically lowering the ability to goalkeep.

Hope it's not a one off and that players like Lewy, ter Stegen and Kounde are actually consistent in this level now when CL is coming closer.

We are not asking for some crazy passing skill.

Just don't pass the ball to the opponent 20m from your line !

[Ostendorp] Julian Nagelsmann has decided that Manuel Neuer will start for Germany at the Euros, with Marc-André ter Stegen as #2. The decision comes following individual discussions between Nagelsmann and each of the two goalkeepers.

Poor MATS. Unfortunately, he's competing against the GOATkeeper.
