He looked the worst of anyone against Jamaica, quite a few times when he did something really careless for no reason. But whatever, less chance Koscielny gets injured, and more motivation for him to impress at club level, so I'm fine with that.

Been saying it all along, not Belgium or Uruguay or any other hipster team will surprise us at the WC, France will. I fully expect them to reach the semis.

France have been very impressive.

Sakho-Varane the best centre back partnership of the tournament no doubts about that.

Then there is the solidity of Matuidi and Sissoko the strength and speed of Pogba the creativity of Valbuena and Cabaye plus Benzema up front. It is really good mixture of talent.

Do you mean the best partnership based on their 2 performances so far?
Because I think Germany, Brazil and Italy have 2 better CBs. Altough Chiellini was awful against Costa Rica and Brazil in general was not so convincing.

France did not face a really good striker yet.
