Maybe if the team was sharp physically. But they were tired even in the first game. Cornella game can't be lost. Copa del Rey is the biggest trophy we have chances to win this season.

Atletico are out, and we are top 2 favorites to win it.

Dont agree.

Did correct thing to play strong team in games to test the side and try to get however small a boost of winning it and then allows a week rest for anyone that needs it.

Any coach would do the same and not prioritise a third tier team.

If he plays strongest team v Cornella that would be worst move.

If this aint the call for paying 5m for Garcia and maybe 5 for Depay and 5 for Gini... Some players here are sacks of shit.
Still a bunch of deadwood...

We have to admit Barcelona isn't Barcelona anymore and Messi is finished. We should really find a quick solution because I don't even imagine us to qualify for UCL next season with this team. Xavi can't be the main man in that conditions, today we don't need a guy who's going to play tiki taka, we need somebody pragmatic who will take our squad wicknesses in count. A Mourinho can be a good deal but impossible. Should also add we miss Suarez because Griezmann and Braithwaite are too poor.

The worst move will be if Cornella kick us out. If Cornella kick us out and PSG trash us, Koeman should get the sack in the summer.

Regardless if they do or not Barca should be playing a heavily rotated team as always have.

No coach would prioritise that game over these.

Barca should've played heavily rotated teams in all 3 games. Except maybe if it was some Clasico showdown. In La Liga we have 3 tough games coming up as well. Elche away, Bilbao home, and Betis away, plus Alaves home. Followed by PSG home after 3 days or so.

Disagree.

There is no point in that and they wanted to win this cup and correctly has it as priority over game will always rotate in.

You assume there is a second game if rotate.

Shit to lose game but more learned from this by going out with rotated sides most likely.

Cornella kicked out Atletico - the (maybe) champions of La Liga 2020/2021, so we must be awared.
That Supercopa isn't a major trophy and I still think we have won the more important match against Athletic away 2 weeks ago !

Win would've been nice. It's not crucial, but he was right to fight for it.

Few subs in the first match and a strong team in the final would be alright on paper.

But one gotta see the state his players are in. If Pedri is tired for a week and you doubt he'll do well.. try some subs. Can always go back to it.

From Cornella until PSG game we have 6 games in 26 days. About 1 game ever 4 days. Many of them though games.
