Passing to Messi wouldn't be a problem if he actually moves and takes good positions. Instead he makes it very difficult for them to find him by walking around in crowded areas and not offering support on counter attacks.

De Jong or Griezmann or Fati or Coutinho... touched more that 20-30 times.... they created nothing

best attacking player for us tonight. says it all really about the level of the squad. shite messi > every other attacking player we have.

dreadful season incoming because we don't have a designated striker and we fuck around with the false 9 bullshit again.

If you ask me the issue today was Frenkie and Busquets playing a game of who can give the most passes away. Coutinho and Messi dropped deep too much to try and create instead. Griezmann couldn?t finish. Messi ran out of steam and should be subbed off at min 70 today

it was his worst performance to date but keep in mind, he did the pre-assist for the Couti goal, then he went on to hit the post and also placed to perfect passes placing both Grizz and 3InkOwl 1v1 with keeper so...

but yeah he also fucked up a lot when playing CDM :chuckle:

btw, whole team looked dead apart from Bavarian Slayman Couti and Ansu. Alba cramping up is just a warning shot. If Koe is afraid to rotate in Camp Nou vs Sevilla, then might as well sign off the CL. Said it b4, must rotate rotate and rotate some more. And yes, b4 you ask, even Neo xD

They are not allowed to have 20 through balls/dribbles/shooting attempts.

Messi is allowed to do whatever he wants.

When Fati wanted to do whatever he wanted, Messi yelled at him.

Fati shoots, Messi yells at him, next he tries to pass the ball instead of shooting when in a good position.
