People need to realize that football has changed, at the moment the perfect midfielder is agile yet incredibly skilled also. You can have all the technical qualities in the world but who are you going to pass to if nobody can even run to the attacking zone?

He is amazing to me, people complain about his pace but he was always slow, I can't think of anyone who could intercept balls like that and just have that composure and confidence all the game.

He might be a turtle in sprint but certainly not in football. Because in football and more so in any variant of Total Football it is not about how fast you run, it is about how fast and precise the ball is communicated among your teammates and finally towards the goal. In that sense, Busquets is one of the fastest footballers in the world.

People hyping up Isco should remember how Busquets dominated him in the home classico last season. Isco can run, dribble, tackle all he want. But it took Busquets just 2 small movements to make Isco look foolish.
