Yes, you can say that Messi also has good offensive performance, but you can never say that Busquets runs less than 10-10 km per game.
Collect the best defenders and midfielders - if your team has two players not helping the team in defense and pressure, you will still suffer.

Messi and Suarez walking around all game is unforgivable and pathetic. However, Busquets has been trash for a very long time now. As Xavi and Iniesta aged and left, he became more and more exposed. He isnt world class without them or the system bound to them. He is unbearably slow and has been getting taken advantage of vs top teams for 4 seasons now.

He needs to go. I am sick of seeing him crawl around the pitch. Sell asap.
He can still be valueable, but only with the point forward.
We should be looking at a LDM - RDM - CAM midfield, as Busquets doesn't have the legs anymore to do it by himself.
Also FDJ will thrive better building our play from the back instead of Pique / Lenglet.
Look at how Lasse Schone, Davy Propper or Marten de Roon can play alongside FDJ, they are all 3 not world class but they accept to be there when FDJ goes on a foward run.

FDJ needs pace and movement in forward areas as well to get best out of him.
When he does go on those bursting runs at Barca too often is met by players barely moving around him and coming to ball slowly.
Messi and Suarez are not interested or not capable of making runs off the ball the way top teams do to open game up. They only run when ball is coming to them or if puts them in a better position and even then not enough.
The team should be built round FDJ and the midfield and if anyone in team is a detriment to that then they need weeded out.
Old players favouring a slow game that suits them should be eradicated.
It wont change though. Messi will pull the power card and amigos will all be here next season and all in first team.

Out of all the senior players Busquets is the one that has the least to offer even in a reduced role.
He is a dinosaur both physically and tactically. There is no use for him in modern football.
Indeed. He's the worst of the amigos. Should be the first name on the transfer list.
I'm afraid for it as well, let's just hope someone in the city of Barcelona will see we need to start moving again not only offensively.
Let's hope Ansu Fati will take a next step and we find a decent replacement for Suarez (not Latauro please..)
