    Neymar Jr.

Surprised he's already 30. He's wasted his peak. Just another Brazilian player who was good for a bit and then bombed.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

He knows if he can service Mbappe he'll score. A bit like Suarez around 2016 when he outscored Messi. Last few years at Barca he had to do it all including score the goals.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

He's given up on scoring goals now. He was a bit the same at Barca towards the end but knew he was the only source of goals. PSG have Mbappe and Neymar.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

It's a poor league but the problem is the style. Full of big, physical athletes when Messi drops deeper and deeper to try and make things happen when his legs are going. He's used to playing in a technical league rather than up against cloggers every week who raise their game to a cup final...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

And if he didn't get injured he'd have probably won it. Poland went out in the group finishing bottom, he didn't play in CL after round of 16.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Lewandowski didn't do anything in the Euros or CL knockouts, so I don't see why people think he should have won it. Scoring loads for Bayern in Germany is not ballon d'or worthy. Messi fortunate no real stand out player in the CL/Euros and he finally won the Copa and had a really good second...

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

A bit of a false sense of security for Argentina because of the state the other South American teams are in at the moment (same with Brazil's record outside of the Copa final). With Argentina officially qualified Messi can start to prioritise PSG for the rest of the season. He's not going there...

I's also prefer all the big teams qualify to enhance the tournament itself but Portugal's World Cup record is dire. They've rarely offered anything much. 1986 - group stage 2002 - group stage 2010 - last 16 2014 - group stage 2018 - last 16 Their two good World Cups were 1966 and 2006 (semi...

They only ever reached two before 2002.

    Cr150

He'll score the winning Penaldo in the play off final and be the early favourite for Ballon D'or.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

Maybe once every 10 years but for them to live up to the potential and stay injury free is the difficulty. Brazilian Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were genius level talents but had a short span at the top of their game of a few years (I don't think Mbappe is at their level). Messi and Ronaldo had...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Ramos cost Salah the ballon d'or in 2018.

    Cr150

He should just play once a week. He can put more into it physically. He hasn't got the legs to play every midweek as well as he approaches 37. Then he goes away to Portugal and has to play against all the shit teams to stat pad more goals.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

The problem is as one by one Pep's team aged/left/became past it they were never adequately replaced. With the exception of Suarez and Neymar for those MSN seasons, nobody came in who could make an impact, it was all left to Messi.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

I said the same last season but the La Liga winner this season will be the weakest in a long time.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

I wish Leo had gone to City, or at least a cohesive team. It's bad enough watching Barca every week, without this garbage as well. i won't be watching many more games in this awful league. the City/Leipzig games should be interesting though.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

This PSG team are horrible to watch and the league is so slow.

Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi

What's De Bruyne doing on the podium ahead of Leo?

    Lionel Messi - v7

It's the socis fault. They voted Bartomeu in to destroy the club (and Rosell before that)

    Lionel Messi - v7

The better teams nullify him now, like Brazil did in the Copa. He's not scored many in Classico's for a while.
