Lol.

No one is offering more then 50mil for this fraud.

If we will pay money it will be for Leao.

Laporta and Mendes will do usual bussiness.

Seems like Arnau Martinez hype died a bit. Benched 4 games in a row now.
Saw he doesn't even have a thread here, so maybe there wasn't that much hype to begin with.

Arnau and Fresneda would both be good signings longterm for affordable price at the time we (or at least I) wanted to sign them. I wanted Arnau watching him in Segunda before Girona got promoted and his clause was still 10m. He then proved last season he can do well in La Liga too so would still be worth a risk for 10-15m and maybe including some loans to lower transfer fee.

He doesn't play regularly now because Couto is better offensively and fits better the way Michel wants to play. But still a good talent who will have a good career. Might try to sign Couto though if we'll go for a Girona RB but no idea if CFG wants to give up on him.

As for Fresneda I was a fan of a buy and send him on loan approach. Or make a future transfer as Barca reportedly tried to do so he'd stay at Valladolid playing regularly in Segunda this season. Obviously he had other plans as did Valladolid. We'll see how he'll do but I wouldn't call him a flop yet. Sometimes youngsters just need time impatient fans are not ready give to them and Amorim can develop kids so if he won't go to Liverpool/Chelsea I wouldn't be surprised at all if Fresneda will suddenly become a starter (and potential star of the team) next year and then be sold for 40-50m like Pedro Porro within two years.

I would also keep an eye on Marc Pubill if he has relegation release clause. Always played well whenever I've watched Almeria. I think a team like Villarreal who are in dire need for some young talent should go for him if they sell Foyth (or even if they don't as Foyth is quite injury prone tbf). I know they have Adria Altimira (La Masia product) but was never too convinced with him and think Pubill has much higher ceilling.

Problem is club doesn't yet know will Xavi stay and there is no clear candidate anyway.
Ideally, we'd have one by now and club would consult with him on signings and who he counts on or doesn't in current team.

Would be really bad if Xavi does leave and club doesn't have anyone in place.

fort seems to have similar potential as those guys, so we are sorted there at least as a sold back up, RB potential starter.

I've my doubts about Fort tbh, as he is a defensive RB who struggled with athletic wingers (French team destroyed him in U17) but you got a point.
He has their profile and within their age bracket, even younger.
So, since he is already here then it doesn't make sense now to go for a project RB, which it is what all of the aforementioned names are.

To be fair though the French teams destroy alot of players physically at U17 level.

They done the same to Pedri at the WC, and he has become the best player from that match.

French u17 are more like u21. No shame to be beaten by 22 year olds while you didnt even hit a peak puberty

Has anyone watched a bit of Johan Bakayoko at PSV? He's young and appears to be the dribbling and wide winger type. I searched and found that a few teams were interested in him a few months ago, but not much recently.
