Would have scored had he not been judged to be offside when two yards on, plus got the assist. Barring Cesc our best offensive player today, Xavi, Pedro and Iniesta were all sub par and Alexis when he came on was abysmal.

I actually think Messi ball hogs less, he obviously gets the ball a lot more as he's more central but he definitely doesn't dribble as much as he used to.

I don't mind playing Sanchez all the time at the moment, it means that our other forwards (Villa, Pedro, Tello, Cuenca, even Deulofeu) can be rotated and kept fresh before the crunch games, where Sanchez MUST be dropped.

I think Valdes is more error prone due to the ball at his feet, I mean Casillas would never have done what Valdes did in the Clasico for the Di Maria goal.

I would say Valdes is more mistake prone than Casillas.

He's not terrible defensively at all, he was playing well defensively until about midway through the 2nd half.

I second Rui Costa and Batistuta. Would like to throw in Baresi, Baggio and Cruyff.
