    Luis Enrique

I'm probably just too much of an idealist myself. If I see Barca at any point in a game sit back & cede possession, I get itchy. The game which put Tata in my bad books last season was the 2-1 victory over Real Madrid at the Camp Nou. Barca sat deep & waited for counters, especially in the...

Everyone making all these assumptions. According to what I've read & seen, there's not much to suggest there's huge differences from Pep & Enrique in terms of tactics. Another thing I don't get is people saying it like it'll be a "good thing" if Enrique's more defensive or less of an idealist...

Messi has been the main culprit all season but then for all we know, it was Tata instructing them to defend deeper. There was definitely a few games where you could tell they'd obviously been told to do that.

I don't buy that notion at all. Xavi, the oldest payer, never stops trying to the win the ball back. This video's an example: And there's plenty of things Enrique can do about it: Simply teaching them how to do it properly again is one of those things.

Where are you getting that assumption from? The way he wants his teams to defend is almost a mirror image of how Pep likes his to defend. You're completely wrong according to his interview here: http://performance.fourfourtwo.com/tactics/how-to-play-the-pressing-game And as far as I'm concerned...

Well I'm happy. Mute it & slow it down. And hopefully we won't see Messi's head just hang every time the team lose the ball.

    Coach after Martino

If Martino goes, Jorge Sampaoli. Bielsa if he hasn't took the Marseille job yet.

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

So according to you; prior to the apparent "directness" introduced early on in the season; teams never sat deep against Barcelona before?

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

It's funny listening to all the people criticising Tata who were all most likely singing his praises earlier on in the season for apparently bringing a "directness" to Barca. It shows that the man who gets the Barcelona job can literally do no right. The, technically, amazing season Barca have...

    Xavi Hernández

Good ole Xavi. Can always count on him to publicly insult Mourinho.

    Bayern best Possession team now?

To suggest that those tiny percentages can mean one team is "more" of something is pointless. This more vertical revolution which Tata talks about doesn't mean less possession, it means constantly looking forward; even if you don't pass forward. Just always having vertical options.

    Bayern best Possession team now?

Come the end of the season, the averages will be too close to suggest that one team is "more possession based". More teams in La Liga try to keep the ball themselves, more so than teams in the Bundesliga so I wouldn't be surprised if Bayern do end the season with an overall higher possession...

Who should be the next Barca coach?

Enqirue didn't do a terrible job at Roma. He signed up for a long-term project, but the board listened to the fans and got rid of him after 1 year.
