CL: Barca - Man City 1-0 (3-1 agg.)

    2014 World Cup General Chat

Uruguay vs Italy game is rigged. The ref is definitely siding with Uruguay. What a travesty. I was cheering for Uruguay too until the major diving seen from them.

Agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Cesc Fàbregas

I second that notion, let's bring in some CB's. Two to be exact. One for the future and a veteran that won't mind playing back-up for the next 2 years. If we have more money, look for a Dani Alves replacement, otherwise keep him for another year or two and sign a RB next season. We need defense.

Agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Cesc Fàbregas

Funny thing is, we're replacing Cesc (Chelsea) with Rakitic (Barca), whom was stripped by Oscar (Chelsea) today that lead to Brazil's 3rd goal.

    Mesut Ozil

I think it's a great move for a few reasons: 1) It shows that Arsenal can finally splash the cash. 2) Great move for Wenger as it tests if splashing the cash is their answer for a better squad. It'll keep their fans calm for a while. In the end, they'll see who's right or wrong. Fans or...

If there are 3 things you can change with the club today, what would it be?

Can I just say that these are the best things I've read on the forum in a long time? Thanks to everyone that contributed their thoughts. I think these are real healthy ideas that insure for a better FC Barcelona. And I'm totally for taking photos, and I'm glad that people understand that it's...

If there are 3 things you can change with the club today, what would it be?

You're on the money with all 3. Especially #2 and #3. Our diving and crying got out of hand after the 2nd leg of the CL semi-finals with Real Madrid. We did do it to stop Real Madrid's dreadful body ramming and leg tackles, but it should of ended there after that game. As for Camp Nou, is it...

If there are 3 things you can change with the club today, what would it be?

If there are 3 things you can change with the club today, what would it be? Whether large or small, from the way the club is running, to staff, team, playing system, jerseys, down to the seats at Camp Nou. Let's try to keep it friendly :) From crazy dreams that would never happen in our...

    Sandro Rosell

It's pretty unbelievable that FC Barcelona don't have tabs on defenders from all over the world, other than the famous established one. 0 points for creativity. 0 points for all the hardwork in the wrong places.

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

When did our scouts and board lose their vision to spot potential? I can't believe they are only looking at extremely famous established cb's. That was Perez's game, but it seems we're playing it more these days.

Why are you a Barcelona fan?

By accident. I lived in Europe for a year and visited every popular (and some lesser known) cities. I just ended up in love with Barcelona. I had no care for football and no awareness that year Ronaldinho and co. just beat AC Milan and were on their way to play Arsenal in the CL Final. Then a...

Transfers and Rumours - old thread

I have a bad feeling that we're not going to sign a defender. I only believe in statements that have been officially quoted, which worked out truthfully for the Thiago situation. So far, there have been no official bids asides from Silva. Since Martino's statement of not sure if he'll sign a...

    Gerardo "Tata" Martino

I really like that idea. Really, really, like it. I wished for some of those old days back where we saw space in front of the forwards. Days where Ronaldinho would get the ball on the left and have so much space to work his magic to pass defenders. Tiki Taka was great, but it's time to move...

    Positive Thinking Cules

If there is anything positive coming from this coach change, is this: we'll utilize our speed of Sanchez, Messi, Pedro and Neymar a lot more. As for passing, hopefully we'll see more long ball passes by Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, and Busquets. Lastly, perhaps with this change, team will park the bus...
