Disgrace..... Don't have any words to describe it. Inter hope you have know 400 years of no glory! A loss for the game... any other team will play know like that. Today I realised once again why I support Barcelona.... can't understand you watch like 50 matches of inter as a fan.... What a cunt team

Jose Mourinho must really be "the special one" when he succeeded in making Inter the winners of the CL, showing that the defensive, tactical and, above all, BORING football won. A step in the wrong direction for the football, not at all what sport is all about! Lets hope Mourinho comes to Madrid, id be more then glad seeing him getting fired because of the BORING Football he brings.

A historic opportunity was lost...thanks to that stupid volcano,Asspanyol, naive tactics and an underwhelming performance...hope we can do better next year...It is quite conceivable that next year it will be all about Barca and Mierda....but then again, you can never be sure in football.

eto'o was not a factor in CL at all... it was milito and sneijder + that awesome defence of inter

the whole game, we saw like 1 highlight of eto'o

Haters stand up. Ask Mourinho what role Eto'o played. Did you hear what he said at the press conference?

"...the important thing is that Inter keep hold of Massimo Moratti, Javier Zanetti and Samuel Eto'o."

The problem with these forum is that most of people here have no experience in football. Just spectators.

Why don't you go to the 'Women' thread and make up a story about hooking up with some odd girl?

Deserved victory for Inter. Not for their tactical superiority (b/c there wasnt any) but their efficiency and individual skills in having two center backs that are not a complete disgrace for their profession. Bayern had more of the game, and im not talking about ball possession that was obviously higher w/out necessarily resulting in sth effective. But Bayern took more shots and created more opportunities than Inter, despite their defensive qualities. Prior to their goal in the 35th minute, Inter only took off a mere two shot, both from 30+ metres freekicks ...

And then the goal came in ... it wasnt anything close to a nicely played out attack ... it was a simple goalies kick-off onto Milito. But when one side has center backs that were able to do two mistakes here each (Demichelis losing the header to Milito (1) and letting him run off (2), van Buyten standing too deep to interfere the pass on Sneijder (1) and then not tackling and/or, if necessary, foul him (2)), then you absolutely deserve to lose b/c of individual lack of quality. Add to that the 2nd goal were van Buyten looked like a complete fool again (honestly, even i would have been able to outdribble the belgian here i think...).

Sure, Riberys absence also played a bit part here. Inter packed three man on Robben and sealed the 'cut-in-path' so that Robben had to take the outer route ... which still worked out well enough on multiple occasion. But Robben didnt have the opportunity of switching sides to Ribery, where a similar player would be able to use the free space to go rampant. Altintop just never was sharp enough to do that. Actually Robben didnt bother playing the ball over to the left after a while b/c it seemed pointless. Also Müller, despite being a hard working guy and often turning out to be a nice link between Rib and Rob, doesnt seem to have game-changing properties in general.

Anyway, Bayerns victory might have been too early, as van Gaals work just actually started and the team playing their system for only half a year now. Other than Inter - that i totally expect to crush badly now after Mourinhos departure as well of those of key players (Maicon ...) and general overaging (Zanetti ...) - Bayern just started rolling. And they were finally shown the things they have to work on the most. Replacing van Buyten and Demichelis is an absolute must, although it will end up with Badstuber moving into the center and Bayern buying an experiences top-class central defender as well as a leftback. I still believe that they are heavily after Dzeko, which would make perfect sense. ANd then there is Kroos coming in, a player van Gaal must be impatiently awaiting.

Any apologies for your assertion that Inter would fix this game because they are Italian-(ish)? :)
