I dont really know what to make of it, but we are playing much better without Frenkie and Pedri.

The return of MATS is of course a major factor but then our attacking play is also more direct and better.
With Pedri out, Xavi was forced to rethink his setup. We play with two wingers these days and it looks much better. Pedri doesn't provide much there.

Also, it helped that Raphinha had pretty good matches on both sides lately.

FDJ will adapt into this and can easily replace Fermin in this setup IMO.

And yeah, rotate them regularily.

This is what is looks like when you take majority of your chances in big games like tonight.. And we played with teenagers in defence.. Impotant 3 points before international break.. After the break Las Palmas where should easily take 3 points..

Fermin is a weird guy. Always in right positions and rapidly moving around. His weaknesses are obvious but I like his contribution.

Best performance of the season. Weird, that we actually look better without Pedri, De Jong and Gavi.
I just have been thinking the same thing actually, we play much quicker without them. Pedri is weak and slow and looks tired after 30 minutes, FDJ hogs the ball and Gavi is just running like crazy like a headless chicken...

Only thing inmature tonight was xavi's reactions, all other things were outstanding. Great job, now we have to face the international break that mostly fuck us up, but lets hope not. Build the momentum and i dont have a slightest doubt that we cant outplay qsg.

Every team needs a player like that that is willing to work himself out. The goal doesn't come on it's own, you have to look for it and he does.

He has the most pace in our midfield, so he can get in the right positions quicker than anyone else in midfield. Too bad that half the time he fucks it up.

Frenkie only hogs when opponents sit back and teammates dont move around. Been plenty mobile and quick in clasicos and europa league and cl games.
