france have multiple options to score they got multiple players who can go 1on1 easily & their team is so young and athletic unlike argentina

mbappe no matter what he is at his best at this age & no team can stop him from being a threat he will find away & luckily for him he gonna face below average full back

argentina too slow against teams like brasil france

i don't think messi can do a thing in this final ..... easy win for france 3-0

Maradona was truly something else when he wanted to play. Too bad he was out of form a lot or had to deal with personal life dramas:lol: But his peak is only rivaled by Messi imo. And Messi has the edge because of longevity. But speaking of him, he hasn't scored from a free kick in quite some time. Perhaps I am wrong, I don't follow him in Ligue 1 to be fair.

to this day i hate the way messi dealt with his injury during 13-14 season .... how on earth he kept playing while still out of shape i don't know

he just missed a great opportunity to something out of this world in wc2014

Perhaps many people don't realise what an opportunity they had back then... But Messi was only 25-26 and still had many more things to achieve, international wise too.

This Sunday is probably Messi's most important game in his whole career. Many people will judge him based on this outcome..

People who wait the final against France to judge Messi, will always judge him and will never change their opinion.
Everyone else have already assessed his worth in the previous 15+ years. Only thing a world cup win would do at this point is add to his myth.
Haters will be haters and find ways to downplay his achievements whatever those may be.

I think I would actually start Dybala alongside Alvarez for the first 50 minutes or so and let them run the French team into the ground and get a few of them booked then bring Messi on for the last 40 minutes plus injury / extra time

You might genuinely be the most idiotic poster I've ever come across

Imagine benching the player that's scored or assisted 9 of the 13 Argentina goals this tournament

Argentina had great individuals on 2014 team and advancing to the final with Messi was not something extraordinary for many.

2022 WC Argentina feels different, I really enjoy their games. Considered underdogs in every game, except the one vs. Australia, and manage to adapt against every opponent. We'll see how that goes on Sunday.

This team is polarizing for me, because it's been a roller coaster of emotions throughout the tournament. But one thing is certain, it's much more exciting than 2014:p Let's hope they will find a way though. If Messi shows that "evil" side of him that he had throughout this tournament, we can hope for something. But everyone needs to be composed, it won't be a one man show.

This might be the dumbest thing I have read here in a very long time

Unreal. Would love to know the thought process behind and how Dybala who has a questionable work rate himself would tire them down? What do you expect this to achieve anyway? It literally makes no sense.
