BBZ caught the L on this one.

That post sunk like the Titanic.

:alveshat::alveshat::alveshat:

On a serious note, both SR and Semedo are not Barcelona level.

Link to stats please. Surely you haven't resorted to blatant lying to support your argument.

He has 3 assists in CDR against Murcia, Leganes and Levante.

1 assist in CL against Napoli.

2 goals and 7 assists in La Liga.

This dawg is getting his stats from SergiRoberto.com

No, you are the ones who are inaccurate.
transfermarket isn't an accurate source of assist states, they have some soft criteria for counting assists, and the official websites don't agree with it. We had this discussion over Trincao assists during last season.

Whoscored are the ones who use the offical ways of counting assists.

See the history tab.

PS: I don't know what is S.Roberto numbers, I am just stating that it is inaccurate to cite tm.

Yes just checked and apparently Transfermarkt count penalties being won as assists. Odd. Did not know this.

I'd like to see those criteria khaled isn't agreeing with. What's a 'soft assist'?

That bounce to Kuluseveski surely shouldn't count. I could understand if it were included in a more general stat of 'influence on goal' or whatever. But there's a certain degree of directness we must preserve. Drawing penos definitely falls under that bracket.

In all honesty I don't agree with those criteria, and I don't know the details of it. but most league and official sites don't count them. transfer market has many times inflated the states in comparison to official sites.
As for penalties, I think penalties won should be a different state, assist is probably counted for a pass and not being beaten by a player.

But that's what I meant - where can you find the criteria you mention? I didn't know there are definitions by which Trn assign stats available on their portal. Are they even written up? Or are you just saying you don't agree with the results that you most often find wrongly attributed? Because the latter could just easily be refuted by examining whoscored database. Which I imagine is flawed in thereabouts the same fashion.

Transfermarkt certainly isn't amazing and with the volume of data they have to churn out they lose details like this in the shuffle. For example injury record is also often flawed as sometimes players who aren't called up are only confirmed to be injured by the manager during the conference rather than by official report. And Transfermarkt often miss this & report 'Not in squad'.

I am arguing with the "officiality" of the criteria, not the criteria itself. I don't know the details of either, and in general assist numbers and not very accurate regardless of the criteria.

whoscored agrees with official databases like official league sites, transfermarkets don't.
Official numbers are usually better than non-official numbers in those discussions.

You can't shit on BBZ because he is using the official numbers.
