I think alot of this is down to fatigue as well. Although madrid had some chances in first half we dominted it over all and had almost 3 clear attempts.

Second half we were losing the ball left and right - Arthur, Buesqusts, Messi, De Jong and Vidal (Alot!) all gulity of this. Even saw Semedo trying to catch his breath at one point. I think this has more-so to do with Madrid taking total control of the match second half.

Madrid dropped 5 points, 5! in just the previous 2 rounds, against fucking Celta and Levante, and you think we must win every game left and hoping Madrid somehow doesn't...as if they won't drop more than two points until the end. This is not 100+ point seasons needed to win anymore, both Madrid and us will drop multiple points until the end of the season, it's just a question of can we drop 2 points less than them. Because that's all we need, you know, we're 2 points behind, not 10. The fucking overreactions here  Used to it already though, might just have avoid reading here altogether after results like tonight, cause people are out of control.

We are not 2 point behind, just one. Real - 56 pts. : Barca - 55 pts. In the last 5 games they have 3 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss, we have 4 wins and 1 loss. One point difference is nothing. Till the end of the season, both teams will drop points here and there. Madrid have their problems as well so this race may go to the last game of the season. Both teams are far from their best days so it can go either way at the end.

This team is done. We've been saying it for a while now.
Umtiti needs to be sold. Pique benched. Two new starting quality CBS are required.
Midfield needs aB2b player. Bruno Fernandes would have been ideal but that's history.

Striker needed too. A number nine.

That's four players there.

We need quality at every single position, but most of all, 2 central defenders and 2 top scorers. I was hopping that Messi can play at least 2 more years at a high level, but instead, we are witnessing the start of his downhill sooner than expected. But lets not forget that he is already 32 and he has been caring this team on his shoulders for a decade.

Seeing Braithwaite come on was so embarrassing. I don't like this Barca at all. Sterile, ponderous possession with no width or pace. It's simply bad to watch.

This is what we have at the moment and we have to accept it. Even at out lowest, we are still in the contention for La Liga and have good chances to win it.

1 point deficit after tonight basically means 2 points, since we're behind on head to head and we won't be finishing ahead if we end up with the same amount of points.

Griezmann and Vidal are NOT Goalscorers we did not need a Greizmann type for this team 120 million wasted. Vidal is playing out of position he is not an AMF or WING. FDJ is being played out of position and is quickly becoming trash.
Messi is out of position he is not a CMF. MESSI IS PLAYING INJURED each time he plays he gets worse.

They need Braithwaite and Fati out there I think Setien made a bad mistake sitting Fati after he got hot. Braithwaite needs to play.

THEY GOT LUCKY AGAINST NAPOLI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still RM sucks Barca could have easily won this game EASILY

The DEFENSE is a mess :( and the goal scoring is so weak

So when the defense is mess and the goal scoring is so weak, this kind of result should not astonish us. The positive thing of this situation is that we can not play any worst. We have hit the bottom. So with some adjustments here and there we can have a better results. Madrid won this one, but in no way they are a better team. We could have won this game or at least take a point. Setien deserve some criticism about the line-up. I agree that Braithwaite and Fati should play as a starters.

You're welcome
I have used the “positive thing we can’t go downhill further from here, so up is the only wat to go”-argument in the past. Unfortunately, I realized it is simply not true. Aside from going up there simply remains the option of remaining stuck at the bottom...indefinitely...

Truth. This team needs a big change. No coach is going to make this team a great one.

OK. You are talking about the tie beaker. I understand what are you talking about. To win La Liga, we need to finish 1 point ahead of them.

I agree with you. If we don't change our approach to the game and we continue the same way, then yes, we can remain stuck at the bottom.

I take him over Griezmann on the wing. Came in and almost scored a goal on his first touch.
