Cr150

If anyone is still undecided where Cr7 and Messi are in their GOAT lists then I'm afraid that they will forever be undecided. We have been watchong these 2 beasts at the top for the last 10 years. We have seen all we need to see. Even a World Cup win for either doesn't make either a better player per se. For me, Ronny is 15th and Leo 1st and that's the end of it.

Nobody is this forum think that Ronaldo is better than Messi but youre the only one who starts the debate everyday and everynight

That's not what you said. You said since leaving Utd he has not provided entertainment for the casual masses which is untrue. Anyway, football is about competition, it's not a circus.

I'm not undecided. I place both in the top 10 and regard your opinion(s) as landfill fodder.

But there is one clear difference between my opinions are yours. Mine are presented with well reasoned , thought out argument. Whilst yours are presented with insults whilst throwing your CR7 underwear out of the pram.

Most people on this forum still think this guy is the 2nd best player in th he world , but he's not even the 2nd best player in Portugal. 1) Bernardo. 2) Joao Felix.

Unsurprising though, the general level of football knowledge here is pretty much mainly driven by sheep mentality and PR/marketing. Very few independent thinkers left, which is a pity.

CR7 is a god in front of these guys. His desire to be the best and win at any cost is unmatched by any athlete in any sport. He has had a huge impact and scored lots of clutch goals in the biggest of games. Bernardo doesnt come close. And Felix? Pfft. That kid is very good, but he just had his breakthrough.

Have you heard of Novak Djokovic? Ten times the mental giant CR7 is, who is great in his own right. But pump the brakes on the hyperbole.

He's a difference maker. He's marketable because of his looks and body, sure, but that would mean nothing without the results he delivers on the pitch in big moments. It's a shame for you that you cannot reach perspective on the matter because I think it would make your life much easier. The fact that you also resurrect the topic yet again further demonstrates how much his ability and status within the game irks you.

Messi lives in his head rent free.

It's quite amazing. I've never seen a player in a sport be so desperate to convince people he's the GOAT.

He is an enormous narcissist who is very obsessed with his public image and reputation. Just as it is the case with other narcissists, he is full of himself but also insecure at the same time, which is why he behaves like this.

However, this feature of Ronaldo's character pushed him again and again to "prove" it, which is only commendable. Off the pitch, he also did a quite a bit of charity stuff. Perhaps he did not really want to help all those poor people/kids and he did it to augment his reputation instead, but what does it matter? In the end, the money was transferred.

He will probably be like Pele after his career. Always claiming that he was the very best, the current players are shit and so on.
