Yeah this game is done now.

I still think Man City will walk the title when De Bruyne and Aguero are back though. They're one point behind with their best player barely playing this season.

Haha goal after first counter after 40 minutes of defending and header from first corner while city had 11, so chelsea no matter who is the coach

Not sure why Sane and not Mahrez was subbed off. With no one in the box able to attract defenders away Mahrez' crosses or cut in and shoot gimmick doesn't work too well. Sane is way more dynamic even if he makes a couple of more mistakes.

Pep botched this with his changes in second half. Also no more pressure on Chelsea‘s weaker side with Alonso in addition to the above mentioned.

It was nothing like Mourinho Chelsea, they were actually absorbing pressure & did the pressing when needed, while Mourinho rather likes to give ball away and plain defend. There's a difference.

This is the kind of motivation, sacrifice, discipline and workrate you need to have in order to take on a team like City and beat them. Chelsea didn't park the bus, they actually, for large portions in the game, blocked City high up.

Sarri is a top manager btw, that much is obvious.

This, im sure valverde would put team similar to sarri tonight, but whats the point when in barca you have players that doesnt bother to defend, while in atacking there isnt enough players upfront (roberto or rakitic often end up closest to opposition goal), its absurd but its barca these days

Edit: hazard is superstar there, but he doesnt have problem to play like pedro when its needed

Tbf even Pep struggled in his first season in England and Sarri didn't get most of his signings apart from Jorginho. Chelsea will probably be even better next season as long as they don't lose Hazard/are unable to replace him.

EPL is where most of the top managers are.
