Chelsea would ask a king's ransom for him but I agree he is someone I would like to see play for us I just don't think Chelsea would sell him. Huge lack of quality right backs these days.

Roberto has some nice qualities but the gap between the two offensively isn't really that big anymore. You're talking as if the levels between the two are Douglas vs Alves.

Sigh look at the stats. Your comparison isn't far off Roberto is about 5x as better offensively than Semedo. Which says more about how awful Semedo is than how amazing Roberto is

Yeah and we all know how amazing Roberto is defensively. 😂
As soon as he plays right back that entire right flank becomes a liability. Pique and Roberto are so limited speed wise that any half decent forward can expose them. Look at Leganes match. Look at Psg match... I could go on and on.

Ok but we are talking strictly offensively,Semedo offers nothing in attack that's just what the stats prove.

I agree we need a new right back which is why I want De Marcos as a short term option as I think hes a good mix of attack and defence and is faster than Roberto.

When Semedo moves into attacking positions there is no support. Either he tries to dribble through or he passes back. When Dembele plays he looks better but problem is Rakitic and Busquets in 433. Midfield trio should be Arthur, Vidal and Coutinho.

Watched like the last 30 mins of that game and this problem was so obvious , then you get people telling us here that Semedo doesn't offer alot going forward. I wonder why ?

When Semedo moves into attacking positions there is no support. Either he tries to dribble through or he passes back. When Dembele plays he looks better but problem is Rakitic and Busquets in 433. Midfield trio should be Arthur, Vidal and Coutinho.

Stats don't always tell the picture not at all.

Seriously watch Roberto on the field and instead of purely using stats. Stats can be deceiving, it's like BBZ using stats to try and prove Roberto is a much better defender than Semedo is and that's not remotely true if you actually watch the game.
