It's pointless to argue about Samper. His salary is low, he won't play here and won't get an extension.

Contract ends next year anyway, so both are the same.
I would just want to let him go even for free -sort like we did with Sandro- in order to be able to get back his career on track.
He has been loyal to the club and professional, it is pointless to try to squeeze money out of him when it is going to be peanuts anyway

He hasn't played too much of a serious football.
I think that his current level (as a starter) is bottom 4-5 teams in La Liga or bottom 5-6 teams in Seria A or 2nd div clubs.
Bigger teams are a way too big step for a current Samper.
One day, maybe he'll play in some midtable team.
For now, he is not ready for those.

This kid just unlucky, I think he should try another league like France or Germany for regular minutes.
