not sure why people are being so harsh on him, the guy is 19, minutes away from a World cup final, he did the right thing. Neymar is on another level when it comes to cuntishness

Piss off. He's old enough to know not to be a right twat with his time wasting antics. You act like 19 year olds are toddlers. They're adults.

He is in the semi final of World Cup and his team 1-0 up. Of course he should be trying to time waste even if it means a cheeky dive.

If there is a time to do stupid shit like that, it's when you are a few minuted away from a WC final and want to waste time.

At least he picks his moments, unlike that brazilian shithouse.

Don't get me wrong. I see why he did it. Doesn't mean he's not a prick for doing it so blatantly and risking getting sent off.

It is the practical thing to do and better to sully your reputation slightly than risk your team's entire WC hopes. Most would do the same in his shoes considering he can't shield the ball as well as Pogba did or Messi can usually when he's in this scenario. You guys saw him getting dispossessed at the end when he was just trying to hold it or dribble it away. If he can't waste time cleanly it's reasonable to do whatever he can do and whatever it takes.

A certain teammate has though him well :neymar:

Anyways, he really needs to stop passing it to the lamp post up front, pass it to Griez or Pogba, or just go alone, really.

He did what he had to do for his country.

Unbeliveable. This guy is only 19. He will dominate football for long long years. Proud to have him in France and in Paris his city.

Bit unseemly what he did at the end but entirely understandable. And to compare him to Neymar/Ronaldo in his unlikeability is insane. Anyway to return to the football, such a shame Giroud didn't score, would have been a hell of an assist.
