It will surely happen, but probably not this year.

Neymar Sr. will pull the strings behind the curtain in the meantime.

No, i dont want him here.
He is unquestionably a very good player and would probably perform rather well, but he is too much of a diva for my liking. Yes, we have other big egoes in the squad, but they still work well together for the most part, Neymar could upset that balance, for the worse.

He would also be mad expensive if PSG ever considered selling, which they wont, seeing as they have basially unlimited money. We need money to reinforce other positions too, blowing it all on one attacker?

I agree with you Morten, I really think that you don't need him. Neymar is undoubtedly fantastic player and a huge star but honestly he is a diva with bad character that will upset your team balance for sure, not to mention that you would have to put up with his corrupt father every single summer. You really don't need that. I bet if PSG had a choice to do it all over again they would never spent 222 mil + salary on him.

I wouldn't mind you spend it all on him. So yes, not the smaetest move.

PSG have unlimited money but they can't spend it that way. There's ffp and they might get punished. Might even need to sell this summer.

Can't wait to see Neymar earns more than Ronaldo and damage the wage structure in R.Madrid.

I doubt PSG will let him leave though and Perez won't interfere. It's Neymar and his Daddy against PSG, Nasser, and Emir of Qatar.

might just be me but I don't think Perez will go the galactico route anymore. sure they do need to replace Ronaldo in a few years but 250m+ on one player? yes they have money saved up from the past seasons but you can't just go out and spend 500m+ in one summer, Neymar would likely be the only signing if they spend that kind of money.

agree with Jair though, fake news from a bored Madrid media (see Salah), Neymar will be at PSG atleast another year

I need to brush up on my Fifa law. But if I recall, Article 17 states that Neymar can break his contract without just cause and in compensation pay training cost (wages). Basically the rest of his contract at PSG. Since the deal of Neymar originally signing for PSG being paid by Qatar State/Neymar, there is no official transfer fee attached to the deal from PSG end, so that part could come back and f*ck them.

You can read up about the Webster ruling in 2007 which is the only case law I know of about this.

So to sum it up, if anyone would think of doing this, it would be Neymar Snr and Neymar Jnr boyband tour of Europe.

Zidane playing the 'we'll see' card in his presser. Interesting.

As long as there is no release clause for him, there is not much Neymar and Real Madrid can do. However the question is, is PSG willing and can they afford to let Neymar sit on the bench to send him a message?

He doesn't want to leave. He isn't leaving. I don't know why Barca supporters of all people are entertaining Neymar to Madrid. It's weird.

Thank you for this! I'll look into it in detail.

But it won't work with Neymar, since Wikipedia states:
"It outlines the provisions which apply if a contract is terminated without just cause, and the requirement for the party in breach to pay compensation.[9] Specifically, it states that any player who signed a contract before the age of 28 can buy himself out of the contract three years after the deal was signed."

The important part is:"3 years after the deal was signed"

He should go to manu and manu should spend all they have on him. Rm will just be a bad move on all accounts. He really can bring back a legendary club from the dust alone and that will show his worth to the world.
snake jr vs Mourinho . He will run away after a season  He can't carry a club on his back all alone across a 38 round league. He is too hot headed to produce a Messi 2013/2018 La liga performance or a Van persie 2013 kinda season with MU. Forget about Cl as United aren't going to make it big in near future
