Paulinho, as he currently plays, is the type of player Rakitic should have become for Barcelona but failed to do so on a more consistent basis. Besides the first couple of seasons for the Croatian, the rest of it has unfortunately been underwhelming.

I like him. Not as a player in particular, but the man is the perfect example of a player who got his career chance quite late, but is taking it with both hands. Man is an example of professionalism, attitude and winning mentality imo. No wonder he failed at Spurs.

There's a certain player in this squad that should have followed this same Advice *Cough* Arda *Cough* but sadly he didn't.
