Barca Transfers and Rumors

If there is one person in Barcelona with the leverage to get real change done in the club, it's Messi.

Imagine the reactions if Messi left for free.

I think we should seriously consider taking Diego Costa on loan from Chelsea, seeing he's out of favor with Conte.

He scored 20 goals last season in elp and could be useful for us.

Luisito is in bad shape right now and i wouldn't be surprised if he gets injured again this season.

I don't trust Paco to be our main CF for any lengthy period of time.

No way. He is not good enough technically for barca. Also his first touch at times is not great.

We must finish the transfers ASAP
Sell Arda, Rafinha and may be Gomes and Raki
Buy at least two from Coutinho Dembele Dybala
(I prefer Dybala first)
Buy a CB like Martinez we rejected

Finally!!! IF it happens then one of the best thing this board has done so far. He will an exciting signing all the fans have been looking till now.
I've watched him against Ajax in CL qualifier, he is an excellent player.

They are considering him instead of Coutinho, not as player coming with Coutinho and Dembele

Messi should refuse to sign the renewal until the board signs the right players to fix the team.

Well said. All the cules and entire Barca family will stand behind Messi if he takes this decision. I'm not sure the vote of confidence from Benedito will succeed so the only person who can threw this board out of Barca is Messi.

Doesn't matter. We need to rejuvenate the midfield rather than our attacking options. I strongly believe Seri can do that. It doesn't mean we don't need Coutinho.

I don't think we will be signing either Coutinho or Dembele. Both are valuable players for their respective teams. Especially with Coutinho, as far as I've read Klopp and LFC owners are not even willing to negotiate.

Both the clubs have denied any progress on the deals. What Segura said was complete bullshit.

That is correct, both of them directly addressed his comments:

According to Dortmund's CEO the two clubs are "not a millimetre closer" to a deal
Kicker reports that the two clubs have not spoken in the last nine days

Liverpool's stance on Philippe Coutinho's future has not changed - despite Barcelona general manager Pep Segura telling a Spanish TV audience that the signing of the little Brazilian is "close."

This summer transfer window has been a disaster. I think the way the club has tried to do business has only infuriated many clubs and going forward it will be hard to make deals until they are out.

Not only have they failed to sign any players but only Mathieu has left, and he was released! The midfield is still overcrowded and with 15 days to go I doubt it will change much. What a joke of a FO we have.
