Neymar Jr. - v5

Don't be such sour cunts.

I am pissed at Neymar for (allegedly) wanting to leave the best club in the world for some vulgar upstarts, but let's just pocket all those millions and strengthen the team elsewhere.

Neymar can try his luck in his new, relatively unknown club.

He disappointed a lot of people. Would be hard to go back now and continue as usual.

We should just sell him for 220mil. no matter if Tebas accepts or not.

If Tebas won't accept the buyout, then squeeze 50m more out of them.

If he's dead set on leaving, then it's better to do that than keep a rotten apple on the team.

This might be out of Barca's hands at this point.

LFP probably realizes the dangerous precedent this transfer will set for Spanish football and will do anything to stop it.

It's also probably not only Barca pressuring them to stop it from happening.

If LFP want to do something, they should try to remove the buyout clauses, or make it valid only for Spanish Clubs signing from Spanish Clubs.

I wish he just transferred already, it is taking too long. We should sign a replacement asap, Dembele would be the dream signing but I doubt it will happen.

I think the clauses will be eliminated soon.

Buy-out clauses in Spain is stipulated by Spanish law, not La liga. It is mandatory for all professional sport players. I'm not sure why this came to be (I belive some time during the 80's) but it is generally thought of as a good idea in Spain and Spanish unions.

Then again, Barca and Real Madrid has an enormous amount of leverage on the Spanish government. Wouldn't suprise me if a change on this comes if Neymar's buy out clause is activated

One rational explanation I have read behind what is driving this deal is that the Qatar brand has been defamed recently as it has been associated with terrorism, and the Neymar deal is basically the cost they'll have to pay in order to create a new brand association

I would totally accept some kind of a negotiation between the clubs but at this point I feel the bridge has been burned.

I would totally accept Draxler+Rabiot+150 mil for Neymar. Not a bad deal for both clubs.

neymar seems to be causing too many problems to have back (if we are to believe the rumors about the locker room talk)

What is Tebas' ground for rejecting this deal? A release clause is designed to be met, right?

Get out of the way and let us complete this ASAP.
