Didn't expect to hear that from you.

I wouldn't say that 4 weeks ago when we were falling and falling and falling.
We have hit the bottom of this era it seems, and we are rising since the 80th minute against Leganes.

We have a new formation, even Neymar is flying again.
Even stranger things have happened in football.

Add one injury, or a red card, or a penalty, or a lucky goal, or a goal from offside and a tie can turn upside down in 5 minutes.
In general, it is way more likely that we won't make it, but I think that we still have 20-30% chances, if we'll have some luck on our side and at least 3-4 brave and hot players that night.
Messi will score, Suarez can always score.
If someone out of Neymar, Rakitic or Rafinha or someone add 1 goal, it will be interesting.

If only Messi will be able to score and if only Messi will have courage to shoot on goal and try something, then we surely won't go through.
So, we need 3-4-5 players on fire and some luck. And something could happen then.

But even if we won't make it, imo, we are still rising in form and it will be better and better till the end of a season.

Whatever the plan is .. Please play without being scared of conceding.. The moment we're playing with fear we would be stomping on our own testicules .. Let the flow of the game be natural, there is nothing to loose.

It won't happen, simple as that. 5 unanswered goals is unreasonable to expect even when rolling over Liga minnows, there's no way we can do it against a PSG side who are defending their lead and will only grow more defensive wth every goal we score. Even if we do manage 2-3-4 goals there's always the chance that one of our defenders pulls a Mascherano and one of their forwards *actually* converts on us and we're doomed, and it's not as if our defense isn't prone to fucking up at this point.

If we managed to make this comeback I'd change my profile pic to Paco Alcacer for a month.

This game is not only about advancing. Barca will play PSG in CL again. All of Barca's strong future CL opponents will be watching. Barca has to convince themselves that they can play well over the rest of this season. Potential future managers will be watching.

I want to see Barca compete, and to play like Barca. Win, lose or draw. A good win here will be quite valuable, say 3-1. Let's see a high-energy, attacking lineup. That means the real Busquets and Iniesta have to show up this time, and Rafinha has to be in the starting lineup. Sub out anyone who is too low-energy, sooner rather than later.

4-1 with all those things and it could have happened .. all one have to do is looking at the line up with which Milan played Deportivo .. nothing but world class players and some legendary defense line .. Still Deportivo played their heart out and knocked them down, but that away goal is a big motivation to have a shot at the seemingly impossible .. with 4-0 there is no bread left for dinner.

We shouldn't expect too much and we should have low expectations.

But then, if we score 1-2 in the first 20-30 matches, then everything is possible and Barca can beat ANY opponent in the world with 4:0, 5:0 or 6:0.

If anyone is bored and want to watch some good, old videos, here are a 10-minutes highlights from a match from 1999/2000 season under Van Gaal, with Rivaldo, Figo, Kluivert, Pep, Luis Enrique, Cocu, when we lost 3:1 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and we won 5:1 after extra time at Camp Nou:

We had like 100s of chances in that match.
Tomorrow could be the same.

is that mourinho on 2:52 marks after Figo scored?

Deportivo knocking out ac milan after loosing 4-1 first leg

Depor cracked open a defense which had : Cafu - Maldini - Nesta each one at his prime or near it.

That's my second favorite non barca champions league i have ever watched after the final Liverpool-ac milan

I think the only way we will go through is if we have alot of luck and PSG are off on the night.

If they score its game over.

Saw odds of 1/10 on this game? That is actually very surprising; 10% return on your money, or in other words, 10% probability of history being created. If I was a betting man, it would take some will on my part to not have money riding on PSG :lucho2:

looks like it

Yes, it is Mourinho.
It is somewhat strange to see him at our bench and actually being happy when we are winning

Mourinho worked with Bobby Robson in Porto (he was a translator at first, but later turned into an assistant), then he came with Robson to Barca in 1996/97 and stayed as an assistant at Barca under Van Gaal in 1997-2000.

We had two future traitors in our team back then, coach Mourinho and a playmaker-winger Figo.

2000 5-1 against Chelsea is a great memory.
Cheers for reminder BBZ.

So many crosses there, funny how I don't remember it that way.

I do have that centenario shirt and still love it :)

The first leg disaster is the reason for being doubtful. If we had at least one away goal, or the result was 3-0... And Psg is not a weak team. I don't know how people are still underestimating them. And our team is currently a shadow of what it once was. Goal fests vs gijon and Celta won't change that.

Barça best result ever against psg is 3-1. Or 2-0. Pulling this off would be the feat of the century, something that would be talked about forever. It's not as simple as some are painting it to be.

I know, it's a tough climb after that horrendous play from our guys. But, if there's one team who can do this impossible feat, then it's this current side of Barca. When the front three are pumped up, no team is bigger for them. Just 2 goals in first half can really boost up our team spirit. Also the fans backing will be another push for them. Remember, this not the Pep's team or Tito's team who solely relied on one player - Messi. This team is Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Rackitic, etc., all attackers who can score goals against any team at any sec of the game.

If Real Madrid can change a game in extra time, so can we, in 90 mins.
