That is absolutely true. He is also at a stage where some kind of decline is all but inevitable. If he moves to another team/league and his goals-count drops off significantly, then his past achievements will be questioned by some quarters. It is in his best interest to stay put. Now, as for RM's interest, that is a totally different story altogether.

No the UEFA co-efficient puts France in the same bracket as Netherlands, Turkey or Belgium I think.
