Its villareal's fault for not pushing the game. Lucho only wanted a win. Thts y he also didnt push the team.

I think we should have worked a bit more. Yes, the team needs a rest, but we must boost that winner mentality and show no mercy. Same thing happened on the match against the City...we slow down after we get comfortable when infact we should thirst for more.

Where is our midfield? Our attack is solid, defence and goalie are doing well but we play like we have no midfield...

Overall good result though, the objective was achieved, lets hope Busi is fine.
Our biggest chance of winning a trophy this season is very much alive, now to relax and watch Bilbao vs Espanyol.

They were there n brought the ball to mid. We play diff style now havent u realized.

Villareal impressed me today. They played quite well at times (I only watched the second half).

I feel in this new style its the midfield's job to launch quick counters and at times keep the ball, they did neither. It was just a big hole between defence and attack where villarreal ran havoc.
I fw eare going to play this casual second gear counter attacking play we need a dominant midfield,w elack it and you can tell by how many chances Villarreal got.

That lack of midfield is what worries me the most. We are having huge problems connecting defense and offense.

Also, JDS turned out to be an ungrateful and disrespectful piece of shit just like his bestie.
What does he have to be grateful for? You think FC Barcelona scout young players out of benevolence or something. He hadn't played in the first team therefore has no ties with it so what he should do, pretend that he's sad?

If we have a strong midfield we would be the best team in the world. Busquets and Iniesta should step their game up allthough it will be difficult now that Busi is injured.

What about leaching of Barcelona for years and being our best paid spectator, he should be extremely grateful.
Hate it when players act like that, Villa was dead to me as a Barca player the moment he acted like Adebayor when he scored for Atletico and JDS is now as well. Selfish pricks.

im happy to see barca playing not so dominant and still wins a game and scored 3 goals in tough stadium, im not expecting barca keep the ball whole game and creating many chances, pep si gone, no more possesion dominance like before, barca should search some new options to win, enrique is on the right way.

It was indeed worrying watching it tonight, seeing the ball being moved about in defence. There was almost no effort to get it forward through a direct route and instead just clearing it up field when they got close. Felt at times like we were too spread and massive holes in the centre with no urgency to move. Was certainly uncomfortable to watch and allowed them to play too much a part in the game. Definitely needs tightening up and communication too.

An applied tactic for this game to maybe open them up but just looked inexperienced and nervous. Was great to see Piqué again enjoying his football. Luckily VR couldn't control the ball down the right to try to exploit Montoya.

Thought it was pretty stupid of Lucho to have Montoya-Rafinha-Messi all on one side. They were very unfamiliar. Some of the lads were criticizing Monty a lot but I thought he tried his amicable best, but was just overrun and did what he could. Still, you have to acknowledge that Villarreal are a very good side and it was gonna be tough, but more than ever, tonight highlighted our midfield needs to be revamped.

This x2000.

We all knew Rafinha + Andres just wouldn't work, and we saw it right from the start.

I think the player we replace Xavi with is going to be one of our most important signings in a long time. (Pogba?)
