Thought Isco was better. Sucks they're playing together now.

I just don't understand the appeal of this kid. Defensively he has gotten better but still losses to many balls.

Apart from his assist I thought he was about as useful as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition

CR7-Isco-Bale thank you please.

Goal he scored against Granada is exactly why so many people think James is world class. Goes missing for several matches, scores a great goal, and everyone goes crazy about him. He is not even worth half of what RM paid for him.

He will get better. His passing and delivery is good, it is his dribbling that is bad and his slow reaction. However, how many teams play as fast as Real Madrid?

Of course he'll get better but judging from RM fans expectations and his price tag, he should already have a massive impact on the game, and so far he doesn't. Reaction is very important in football and doesn't really get better with experience, and while I agree he makes great over the top passes, his passing is otherwise not very spectacular.

Based on merit, if anyone gets benched when Bale comes back, it should be James, and not Isco. Though I'd personally leave Bale on the bench if I was Ancelotti, system works better without him.

His price tag is inflated, of course. So are expectations on him. Given how young he is and how little time he has had so far, I'd say James has done very well.

He is the future poster child of Real Madrid for sure.

in Ancelotti's system he's our most important player after Kroos. He's a fantastic, mercurial footballer too.

I would call his introduction to the team a success. Not inferior to Bale's last year anyway

But who does care really?

RM wins games, James scores goals. This team is steamrolling anyone right now.

Who does care. I'm sick of that "doesn't worth it" attitude that sounds more like damage control than anything. Fact is, RM is doing great.

For example, would have loved Barca to splash some more money instead of keeping Alves and getting that ugly fraud that Douglas is.
