Well that was shit. Where to begin?
The lineup wasn't bad. Celta got lucky as hell though with our 4 posts. We had little control in the midfield which led to a bunch of dangerous counters.
Our finishing though has been horrible lately. Messi especially has missed point blank today, vs Real, in the other games as well. He has to bang those in the back of the net at least 50% of the time.

We have the players to play much better than this. It's on Lucho. The players are lost, there isn't a clear system to play on.

The 300 passes and 50 one/twos around the box doesn't work anymore , every team knows how to play against it. The team all play a style that suits Messi and thats ok when he's scoring after the 300 passes , he's not scoring now and everyone knows how to play against this.
I said it last week , he should be moved into centre midfield and feed the two word class goalscorers we have .These two players are not getting to play the style of football they are best at and thats because of Messi.
Also , when is someone going to tell Messi to back off at free kicks and let Neymar take them , the guy is around Ronaldos ratio now .

so what? Is that an excuse? We have 90 minutes to scoar a damn goal at our home and we couldnt do shit. Seriously, stop defending this crap, just admit, we played like shit.
Nightmarish result but great performance. If we can average 14 shots inside the box every game, we will be one strong team. Oddly we'll probably have 4-0 results this season with worse performances than today.
Defense besides Alves seemed very solid as well. Very unlucky to not have a clan sheet. I'm looking forward to see how we do against Ajax

With our current midfield I don't think that we can have too much control like we used to. Thing is that we have to rely our forwards for moments of brilliance. We were both unlucky and poor at finishing tonight, plus the Celta GK was on fire.
Football works that way sometimes. Luck is also a factor and we had zero of that tonight.
