The defending on those clips is sensational.

Not a good look for the 'modern football is rubbish' lot.

Over rated.

Always was.

Never one of best ever and rightfully not int he debate.

And couldnt win the CL when joined the prime team in 'prime Italy'.

Fucking Paul Lambert out did him in a CL Final.

Juve won more before and after he was there.

Most players do trivelas to avoid using their weaker foot and then there's this man who just casually sprays trivelas around with both feet effortlessly.

I will never argue with some of the older fans who say he's the greatest player they have ever watched and that he's better than Messi and Ronaldo.

The eye test with him is just crazy. Whether you like him or not, you can't deny his sheer genius and wide array of attributes.

Some people are just born with this special gift. This guy is one of them.

@TemporaryFan I completely respect and understand your opinion on this. Well said. 🫵🏻

In 2006 World Cup in Germany, he single-handedly led France to the final.
He should've been the Champ but Italians played dirty.

Zidane joins CL winners Juve and then recent CL winners Real Madrid.

Wins 3 league titles and 1 CL in 10 seasons at those two.

Man marked out of CL final by Paul Lambert.. a free signing from Scotland.

Over rated.

Zidane had his moments, but he never had consistency.

He was almost nonexistent in 98 World Cup, but stole headlines with 2 headers into the final. In 2006 folks were calling for him to be benched until the Brazil game, and afterwards this was the only game people remember for him in the tournament (beside the headbutt).

He was one of the top midfielders of his time, but he was also the definition of overrated. He would have been roasted for those bad moments if he played in the social media era.

Yep this sums up what I've been saying about him for years.

He's great, but a lot of dogma around him is due to some high profile moments.

I've seen him for Madrid over the years, I was impressed by his skill like anyone would be, very very rarely impressed by a game he had.

I'm taking someone like mordic over zidane every day of the week.

Legendary player but like some people said here his career was plagued with lack of consistency. His iconic moments in finals has inflated his legacy by a lot, I dont think he's leagues above every other midfielder like some people claim. In terms of technique he's probably top 3 of all time though.

I remember this song being released just before the 2014 World Cup, good vibes
