Going straight into the club WC he'll probably keep it simple not too much tactical change, the limited time he has to implement his ideas might benefit us.

Don't want to be cynical, but you always read the same reports about every new coach. Happens all the time at every club. It usually starts with puff pieces/the media licking their balls.

He took on a great challenge with Vini and Mbappe though.

Enter Stiller 😉
👃.

Will be interesting to see what they do with tchouameni, since Bellingham and Valverde as to start.

Will he be happy to sit on the bench.

Still would be playing 3 players upfront that all want to go to the left side, if Rodrygo stays as well.

From what I can see he expects Mbappe and Vini to press and work for the team

Is he deluded or he can genuinely pull it off?
Only 1 attacker can get away with less defensive duties in the modern game. Slot did the same thing with Salah this season. Flick does the same with Lewandowski.

Mbappe needs to be the one that stays forward and just blocks some passing lanes when out of possession. Also Mbappe needs to play off the left.

Well I'm not sure if Vini would like that

And it would be devastating if some dressing room tensions were to emerge with a manager who has 2 seasons of top flight experience

I have a hard time seeing a midfield trio of Valverde - Bellingham - Tchouameni working.

Even if they get in Stiller who is a good player that midfield is still too chaotic and lacking control. Then Alonso also need to find a way to convince Vinicius and Mbappe to become pressing demons.

This is how you rebuild Real Madrid:

Courtois
TAA Rudiger Huijsen NewLB
Stiller Tchou/Cama/Valverde Bellingham
NewRW NewST Mbappe

Sell Vinicius and Rodrygo and buy players you actually need.

New ST: Get a hardworking, tall, strong, mobile attacker for Mbappe to play off. Sesko.

New RW: Preferably a left footed creative player who can roam inwards and create chances and contribute with goals and assists. Palmer.

New LB: Get a solid, unremarkable, 'Steady Eddie' kinda left back who's defensive minded. An LB/CB hybrid would do well. Calafiori maybe?

Play a more energetic, mid block and a balanced style of play similiar to the Madrid 3peat team. The counter attacks need to be the best itw with that front 3.

Build the team around Mbappe. He should be the clear main man and top dog. No need for stupid ego clashes. Mbappe would love to play in this team and system.

The hardworking midfield and attackers would cover for Mbappe's poor defensive work rate. Convince Mbappe to block passing lanes and force the GK or CB to release the ball which should be an easy job.

Stiller will be the deep lying playmaker while the DM he'll play with needs to sheild the defense and Bellingham will be the attacking midfielder who makes runs into the box. Play him in a Lampard esque role. His work rate will be great for this midfield.

Considering that the LB is defensive and the midfield is hardworking, Trent can push forward with attacking freedom. His diagonals and through balls to Mbappe would be deadly.

Palmer/RW can roam inwards and create numerical superiority in midfield and look to slip through final balls to Mbappe who is the best at getting in behind the defense.

If Tchou or Cama can't do their job properly, get a proper destroyer to sheild the defense next season.

This is how you create a balanced team that fits Real Madrid and can win titles. This is my idea to rebuild Real Madrid.

Trent loves to move into midfield and is a brilliant playmaker.

In my proposed team Palmer drifts inwards.

Brilliant technicians like Trent, Palmer and Stiller with support from the DM and Bellingham should be enough to control games if coached properly.
