Maybe change Uruguay with Ecuador + get rid of Italy and Colombia altogether and this sounds about right.

Brazil, Ecuador, Australia (theme of yellow there isn't it) all qualified. 13 down, 35 to go.

Colombia should just about qualify too, and it will take some kind of miracle for Uruguay and Paraguay not to gain automatic qualification. Nothing will be confirmed til September now, though.

Venezuela and Bolivia will fight it out for the play-off place. Each have Colombia (Bolivia have them away and Venzeuela have them at home). Ven also have to travel to Argentina, and Bolivia have Brazil at home. It will be interesting as the two big guns are already qualified anyway. Colombia have it well in their own hands though -win against Bolivia and they'll be through. Draw and Venezeula lose or draw in Argentina, they're also through.

Poland lost to Finland yesterday 2:1 in the away match.
I've had it. I officially witdraw my interests from this sport and will treat it on par with swimming, ping pong, wall climbing and competitive fishing. It causes too much frustration and puts a man into bad mood. I don't enjoy watching this sport without being emotionally vested. Unfortunately, Poland's team doesn't cut it for me any more and then things like Spain vs Portugal or PSG vs Inter do not draw my attention any more. I am not sure why. I used to be different but It's been like that for too long.
Poland's team is a bunch of phaggot looking pussies who shit higher than they can see. They're too good to play in the polish league, but Finns who play in that league or 2nd Bundesliga and such still can win with them.
That's it for me.
Then there's the decline on the very sport valor... think it is rightfully called soccer because the way those athletes behave sucks ass. A little touch on a cheek they fall down as if hit by a thunderbolt. PUSSIES!
There's Football and soccer. Real men play football. Soccer is for ladies.
Aye mate, seen that, it was a bad one for sure.

I know what you are saying about losing interest. With me it is less about losing interest in NT, but the way modern football is - so much money, some players being hyped and 'stars' off the park before they do or achieve anything. All the cheating is annoying too - it never used to bother me but does now.

Plus, when you hit your forties, seeing players young enough to be your son just hits differently to when they were old enough to be your dad. Knowing that if you had been a player you'd be retired by now.

I don't even think it is specific to football; it's just getting older and tastes changing. I do still enjoy watching football, but I enjoy playing more. I also never thought I would say this but I think I love films more than football now too.

There's a few things keeping me invested though - I enjoy watching Barca and young Lamine. It's funny seeing Man United struggle (my most hated club). And I always love the party feel of international tournaments so looking forward to the World Cup starting in exactly a year (though it's diluted and convoluted with 48 teams).

But in general, yeah - I don't love watching football as much as I used to. I think the kids love it as much as we did 20-30 years ago though - we are just getting older now, lol. You're early 50s and I am early 40s.

I guess you're right it has to do with age. Although my uncle, in his 70s, is still crazy about it though and couldn't understand why I choose to go on a bike ride instead of watching Portugal vs Spain. I've lost the appreciation for the sport itself. For esthetical value, I do prefer to watch track and field competitions, swimming, I think, l like tennis better too.
Yesterday's match was the last straw. I felt nauseated seeing those punks thanking the fans after the loss. Then Lewandowski "drama" is a laughing stock...I mean I need to distance myself from all this shit and take care of my own hobbies. Like maybe go back to shape and train for a triathlon or sign up year for tour de devide bike ride...
Yeah some guys, the love never leaves them no matter how old they get - whether it is football or something other than football. It might dissipate for a whil,e but it always comes back.

I am starting to enjoy track and field and swimming a lot too. I wanna get more into volleyball as well. The athletics and swimming world championships are coming up soon.

That's why I told you a while ago you shouldn't get invested in Lewa (or any other player) just because they are the same nationality. Lewa always seemed quite selfish to me (I am good at reading people) and he doesn't really care about the Polish NT I don't think. He will always put his own legacy and numbers above the team, like Ronaldo does.

If you feel like you wanna get back to the gym (I have been doing cardio there recently) and train and get in shape, then you should. Try not to put your happiness in the hands of footballers who couldn't care less about us.

As @Messi983 was saying when we had the nationality debate a while ago, there's no real reflected glory in a person doing well in sport and us being the same nationality. Even at club level - it's great when your team wins, but ultimately these guys don't care about us and are so far removed from us in wealth etc. It has always been this way but at least back in the day players earned a lot less and bought pubs after retirement and drank with fans. What do fans possibly have in common with players now? Many players become rich as fuck and forget where they came from, their impoverished roots.

If you think about it, football fandom as a whole is a bit mad. Following multi-millionaires and hoping they do well at their jobs and win stuff that we don't have a part in on the pitch.
