Only mistake by reguragui whole tournament is playing An injured Saiss. Was costly in the early goal + substitution wasted early + disrupted us a bit. Should have just started with someone fit.

Moral victories are bullshit this team will be back to morocco with regret. No way did this French team proved to be an indisputable better team. In any part of the match. Some dodgy decisions and favoritism by ref but nothing scandalous .

The decisive factor was the lack of depth. We don't have good substitutions on attack and it shows every time. Can't blame luck for hitting the post luck smiled at us and grinned at us today.

There is no way amrabt ain't joining a big team he put mbape in his Jellaba.

Alas! Folks .. rendez-vous in 4 year ! Suu

Villarato!
Have to agree

Both teams are a fest for those who hate football really

Not really to do with that
Just not nearly expecting an open 4-3 like that 4 years back

0-0 or 1 goal margin max for much of the game is way I think it may go. Any more than that depends how French decide to play their attacking game

You should win the next African cup of nations regardless...

4th WC final for France in the last 7 WCs btw. If the win, it will be the 3rd WC in the last 7

Germany has 5 WC finals (1996, 1974, 1982, 1986, 1990) in 7 WCs, although they only won 2 of the 5

Brazil has 3 WC finals in 4 years with Pele and 3 WC finals in a row from 1994 to 2002.

Since 1998:
Titles:
2 or 3 France
1 Brazil, Italy, Spain, Germany
0 or 1 Argentina

Number of finals:
4 France
2 Brazil, Germany, Argentina
1 Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Croatia

France is the biggest NT force since 1998.

Italy IMO tends to get overrated. They have 2 serious WCs and 2 clown-show ones in the 1930s before football was even a thing in many European and SA nations.

Argentina also need another WC win. That'd put them at 3 trophies in 6 finals. Which IMO puts them over Italy historically.

What concerns me mostly are crosses to Giroud, as Argentinian defenders are midgets. Mbappe and Dembele are pace abusers and formidable dribbles, they will create a lot of trouble for Argie fullbacks.

Romero & Otamendi are tall enough to handle most crosses until you have some Dutch level tall players, only Martinez is undersized in that regard.
