Canada shouldnt be letting Croatia break on them like that.

Their defence is weak and their strength is their pace.

Surely they need to be tighter/compact and deeper at back and trying to frustrate Croatia and break on them when get the chance.

Yes, cana should have played more compact and lower block defense to hit on the counter. It's absurd trying to slow tempo vs a technical team like Croatia, even when you are ahead.

Germany pace will kill that Spain high line and lack of pace from Busi at DM and in the defence... if they can get ball to do it.

Lucho will gamble that Pedri/Gavi and Busquets can keep ball well enough to restrict those chances to break.

Be the first big tactical battle between two of the better teams.

If Lucho is worried about the pace of Germany could see him even resting Gavi for Koke to help sit and get closer to Busi but that would be a big call after Gavi v CR and would look awful if lost.

I feel sorry for Canada, they play some exciting football, young and full of energy. But the lack of experience is visible. Not to forget they are in a helluva group with Belgium, Morocco and Croatia.
