I remember the times where prime Luis Suarez would be scaring the defenders, Messi being absolute magician, busquets calm persona in midfield etc

With level of players today every single one of them would be top 5 in their position... most top 1

There are many candidates for the best possible fit though

Eto'o is probably a very good shout. We need a striker and particuraly his profile. And he's better than every striker today

Alves, Yaya, Rafa Marquez, Pique among others

And ofc Messi

If you really want someone where we have a hole in the squad currently Alves or Eto'o.

I would say Puyol or Masche for leadership besides being the best CBs in the team. We could do with a lot of them. Dmytro Chyhrynskyi would help.
