Don't care about technique with strikers too much as long as they can score and do some other things well which Vitor clearly can.

New game, another golaso. Had another one disallowed too for a close offside just before he was subbed.

Good assist by Flaco Lopez too, he's a very good player.
imagine getting paid to kick a ball like that

edit: on a 2nd watch he almost messes up that 3rd touch

This guy is still 19

And the shit he's gone through already. Goals in Brazil, then a quick transfer to literal top of Europe, loan to Betis, come back to Brazil

I think people are being too harsh. He does have some abilities that could come in handy even in European clubs in future. Most strikers his age are still breaking out or still developing in some shit division

He will have a chance to prove himself in Europe again, soon.

But I am not optimistic about that future.

If you don't have an elite talent, your path can decide your future.

He will suffer from his price tag soon enough.

From the start he was priced out of any non big clubs, had he moved to Portugal or Holland, he might have made it gradually, but his options were essentially Barca and Chelsea.

Now, after failing in Europe, he is back to Palmeiras for a record fee in Brazil. When they decide to sell, they will want some big fee again and he will have to take another big step rather than an intermediate one. I suspect it will likely be to an EPL club.
He will have the experience in Spain and more years of life to make things easier, but it might again be too big of a step.

In a way, I think Roque problem is being good enough to create hype, but not good enough to live up to that hype.

13 goals in last 15 games ?

Brazilian league yes, but still . For 20 year old, impressive.

Barça move fucked his reputation. He can score 100 goals now and nobody will be interesed
