Everyone were wrong about Vitor Roque.

Xavi for requesting him early for no reason. Especially as he played him on the wing for some reason.

Deco for not doing his job as the SD and simply saying no.

The club for seemingly not helping out a new arrival from Brazil to settle in mentally as Deco suggests himself.

Now, he might have or probably would have flopped either way I think, sadly. Not every signing is successful and I don't blame the club for trying as long as they're not spending Coutinho money for it.

Now I would love to hope the club have learned their lesson with how to handle very young guys that join us from abroad. When you invest so much money and resources in a player we should also spend a little bit to protect these guys from bad actors and honestly from themselves.

Unlike our youth players they don't have family nearby or close friends to help them so Barca should hire some people to help them out with whatever they need until they settle in.

Two prominent cases of it now with Dembele's immaturity and being left alone to do whatever until they had to hire a guy to wake him up after two years at the club, and now this with Vitor Roque.

And before someone says that these guys should be held accountable and that they shouldn't need babysitters then sure.....but when you are spending a lot of money on your investment you should also do your best for it to pay off.
