Vitinha

It's exactly the opposite IMO:
The quick 1-2s, pass and move combinations are more instructed patterns. Lucho has instructed the shit out of his player in positional rotations and pass/move combinations to create space, and the result is wonderful.
No doubt Pedri can also do that if he was instructed/trained so

On the contrary, Vitinha doesn't have the vision for those killer balls.
That's something that can't be learned, and comes up instinctively in a game.
If he hasn't done so until now, most probably is because he can't

Fair enough.

Personally I don't think either of the two are specialists at killer passes or final balls.

Both move the ball well and retain it brilliantly. Both have good vision but not all timer vision like KDB, Ozil or Xavi.

Exactly. Vitinha has the system and is given freedom to play. Though he is more dynamic than Pedri when it comes to play 1-2.

I think Vitinha is a better controller than Pedri; he normally has more short, medium, and long passes than Pedri, and higher accuracy for short, long, and medium passes. If you check this and last season, that's essential for controllers.

Most of the time, he dictates for Portugal and PSG, but this season, he has been more involved in goals and assists for PSG. I suspect it's because their key forwards have been injured, so he already has 5 goals and 8 assists (13 g/a) for PSG in 18 matches. That's the total g/a he had for them last season in 60 appearances. He always had good long shots, but seems to be hitting them more now.
Vitinha now is probably closer to Xavi player profile than Pedri. That sequence tempt posted vs Inter for example is something very Xavi-esque.

Pedri is like the combination of Xavi and Iniesta.

Pedri is better goalscorer than Vitinha though this season Vitinha scores more, for now.
