So much for the great negotiation skills from Liverpool. Played hard the whole time and in the end gave him the same contract he had, Salah probably also got the same.

But their fans love to portray them as some masters in negotiating, where players have to accept their demands.

VVD was never in doubt. He was always going to extend. I said it months back.

Salah was asking for too much which is why the club were negotiating with him.

Also, if you are a big club you have to pay the big players big wages. There's no getting away from that. No matter how good you are at negotiations.

The difference is we don't give shit players crazy wages. We pay Salah and VVD huge wages because they deserve it, never get injured, get great numbers, carry our defense and attack and are consistent. That is money well spent.

We pay the other players pretty low wages compared to other big clubs.

You know how much they were asking pal?
You know also that had TAA stayed they would not be getting that?

Pool under Edwards have proved they have the best wage structure around

You can lull yourself into thinking all clubs are the same.
Go check Ansu's Lewa's and FDJ's wage and wake up

You are making it like Edwars is some miracle worker. Not everything he touches turns to gold you know.

And had TAA stayed, and they didn't get what they wanted, you really think Salah and Van Dijk would have stayed for less.

All clubs are the same, Liverpool was always a big club, but only recently they had a really succesfull period, and now to keep that level they will have to pay premium for elite players, both wage and buy price.

Lets see their magic when they have to replace their core players. They will have to pay premium prices if they want to stay competitive. Their wage bill will only get bigger and bigger, like it happened with every other club who wanted to keep their lever after a succesfull period.
