100% will play as a striker, he's no Ronaldo Messi type that will come off the wings more a Ronaldo Henry type he's a striker that likes coming from the left, but a striker he is.
I give you that he's a better fit than Ronaldo in the center, but his hold up play leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe he can adapt though. He's young :S

Lot depends if we play 4-3-3 next year or move to 4-4-2 or even 3-5-2. Latter can be facilitated with Rudiger or Kounde transfer without much a problem.

It's not 2016/2017, where everyone would assume he would transition into a striker. PSG tried and they couldn't, and by Mbappe's own admission he stated that his position is that of a wide forward not a striker. Hes been playing as a winger for 5 years now. You're not going to sign the hottest forward in the world just to shoehorn him in positions he has far less experienced in just so you can accommodate a lesser player in Vinicius.
