45 goals in 41 games now.

5 goals in the last 135 minutes.

Solves our direct free kick problem.

Seems pretty obvious to me who our number 1 transfer target should be.

Insane numbers. Doubt we're in a market for one this summer since Lewa has another year on his contract and Ferran started scoring. They will try for a full back or a winger if finances allow it.

In perfect scenario Saudis offer money for Lewa's transfer and he leaves on a high. Money is freed up on ffp and we go for someone younger and hungrier.

When club wins big it's wise to change player or two and keep the hunger going.

Still can't trust the Portuguese league especially when they are 24+.

If they were willing to sell for a reasonable price would be worth the gamble.

On course to win the European Golden Shoe.

Would be the first time someone out of the Top 5 leagues won the Golden Shoe for 25 years.

He has over 1.5 times the number of goals than everyone else in Europe apart from Salah.

Seems obvious to me that he is the Chosen One.

23 years. Jardal won it with Sporting in 2002, Larsson the year prior, and Jardal had his first one in 99.

Nikolas Machalas won it with Vittesse in 1998 but Eredeviese was top 5 league back then.

Ahh man. His pichichi goal was tremendous.

Could have been the perfect signing for us.
Too bad, we have Tuna and Grandpa's wages to be concered about.

Not that hard to rack up goals against Iikes of Casa Pia, Famalicão and Estoril Praia. Teams that most have never heard of. Not saying he isn't good but most of the teams in that league are Pub level.

I was a nonbeliever, but he uses his body incredibly well, which is the hallmark of a good to great striker... also why I ferociously defended Lautaro when everyone was shitting on him.

Just get him and Joan Garcia and call it a day... need to get rid of Stegen and Lewy though who have big egos. But at least there were some reports that the club is sceptical going into the season with a 37 years old striker and a goalkeeper coming off a bad injury. A winger would be nice, but Ferran can cover there as well... and it's not like other teams have much more depth offensively.

I am afraid the club is less ambitious and waits a year though and then all good options are gone... but I can't be too harsh - it's the convenient approach.

He also has 6 goals in 8 appearances in Europe. I've seen him play many times since I started the thread 1 year ago. The guy is a workhorse. Uses his strong frame well (unlike Lewa), very fast for his size and has a killer shot. He's not static either, the guy is always making runs.

People give credit to Ferran for being lively vs Lewa and making runs a lot which I agree opens up opportunity in the box. Imagine having a taller, faster striker doing it who isn't dogshit at finishing.

Probably can't afford him but I can't understand people claiming he isn't our profile when he's literally the living embodiment of what we need in Flicks system.
