I think a young Dani Parejo would have looked decent in this tournament.

For Diaz, looks like one of the typical SA midfielder molds of recent. Showed very good ball sense in the final.

I think he could fit in for us in a double pivot of a mid 2 + 2.

Certainly with the level of LaLiga these days, the excuse of not getting game time should be a thing of the past.

But if you compare with Gabriel Veiga there seems a tier difference. Different styles and positions admittedly.
